Last week (May 4, 2025 📅) I received confirmation that my student status was successfully verified and that I’ve been granted the GitHub Student Developer Pack 🎉. Here’s the message I received:

Approved on May 04, 2025
Application Type: Student 🎓
Your academic status has been verified. Congratulations! 🎊

Your academic benefits, including Partner offers, will become available within 72 hours of your verification ⏳.
Once the benefits become available, you will be able to access the Student Developer Pack offers here 🔗.
To redeem your Copilot Pro coupon, please sign up via this link ✨.
We hope you enjoy your GitHub Education benefits 😊.
Your benefits will expire on May 04, 2027 📆.

It’s now been three business days since then, and in the “Student Developer Pack” section I still don’t see any available offers or the option to redeem Copilot Pro 🚫. I’ve already tried:

🔄 Refreshing the page

🔑 Signing out and back in

🌐 Using a different browser (Chrome, Firefox)

Has anyone else encountered this issue? 🤔
Is there an additional step I need to take to activate my benefits? Any tips or assistance from the GitHub Education team would be greatly appreciated 🙏.

You'll get a PRO badge when your benefits become available:

The waiting time may vary depending on different factors, such as the volume of requests; it usually takes a few days, but sometimes it can take a little longer, even a couple of weeks.

Once approved, you can claim your Copilot PRO offer on this signup link.

To redeem others benefits, go to the pack offers page, scroll down to the "All offers" section and select any offer that suits you.

In case you encounter a problem claiming any offer, I recommend you raise a ticket here, select "I am a verified student having trouble redeeming my Global Campus offers" and explain your issue.

I've recently (as of last month) got approved for the student package, it may take up to 72h for them to reflect on your account

Oop it's fixed for me too! Now that I re-checked, it seems to be just at the 72h mark. Could've sworn it said I got approved on the 19th before but now it says 20th, which checks out!

Although the confirmation message stated that my benefits (including the Student Developer Pack for teachers and GitHub Global Campus) would be available within 72 hours, I still do not see any active offers or the ability to redeem GitHub Copilot on my account.
